Mindful, Relational Counselling (EN / 日本語)

Welcome! I’m currently in counselling training and am offering a small number of exploratory sessions alongside my studies.

My approach is calm, attentive, and practical. I work relationally and with mindfulness and body-awareness (Hakomi-informed), tailoring each session to the person in front of me. Some sessions are slow and reflective; others are more structured and problem-solving when that feels useful.

I’m queer-affirming, and I welcome LGBTQ+ clients.

  • life transitions, relocation, and “stuck” periods

  • navigating life as an expat

  • relationships, partnership, and communication

  • sexuality and identity

  • anxiety, overthinking, and self-criticism

  • English or Japanese

  • limited availability

  • fees: pilot / sliding scale

  • I am currently in the process of establishing regular professional supervision as part of ethical practice as a trainee.
